Terms and Conditions
1 CONTRACT TERMS AND DURATION
1.1 These contract terms and conditions shall apply to all registered users (CUSTOMER) for any purchase ordered at Kanvas Ltd. (KANVAS) online store majasdeko.lv.
1.2 The rules are in force until they are changed.
2 CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION
2.1 Purchases at the online store majasdeko.lv may be made only by CUSTOMERS who have registered at the online store majasdeko.lv
2.2 The Contract shall enter into force once the KANVAS staff confirms the order. When the CUSTOMER places an order, he accepts terms of use of the online store majasdeko.lv. Contract duration is counted from the moment when KANVAS has taken order and terminates at the time of delivery.
2.3 KANVAS undertakes to provide CUSTOMER with information and give the approval for the sale of goods contract entering into force:
2.3.1 Placing an order at the online store majasdeko.lv, the CUSTOMER receives an e-mail message about the placed order. Once the KANVAS receives a confirmation from the supplier that the item/-s is/are available the KANVAS informs the CUSTOMER, by sending an order confirmation to the CUSTOMER given e-mail address;
2.3.2 If CUSTOMER’S ordered item is not available, the KANVAS sends the CUSTOMER informative e-mail message regarding that event.
2.4 Required CUSTOMER actions to place an order:
- Select a product;
- Specify the quantity of Items;
- Register (can be done before the first action);
- Specify a delivery address;
- Receipt of an Invoice;
- Check your order, paying information and delivery address and perform the necessary corrections, informing about it KANVAS by the e-mail;
- Receipt of an order confirmation;
- Payment;
- The signing of a delivery note for the received goods.
3 DELIVERY TIME
Delivery time you can see in additional information of each product. Usually the goods are sent to CUSTOMER within 2 working days, if CUSTOMER has made a payment to the account specified at majasdeko.lv.
Delivery time for the goods that are produced for the special CUSTOMER’S order is as from 2 weeks.
Under a separate agreement with the CUSTOMER, other delivery times are allowed.
4 DELIVERY
4.1 Delivery is provided by KANVAS or State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” using an express mailing.
4.2 In case of delivery is provided by the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” a parcel with your order will be sent to the post office, which is the nearest to a delivery address given by CUSTOMER. Staff of this post office will call CUSTOMER to arrange the most convenient delivery time. If after 2 attempts is failed to reach CUSTOMER by phone CUSTOMER will receive a delivery notice and CUSTOMER can get a parcel in the post office. The parcel is held in the post office for 10 days, after that the order is returned to KANVAS store, and CUSTOMER has to pay additional cost for repeated delivery. The ordered good for free is held in KANVAS store for 1 month.
4.3 In case of delivery is provided by KANVAS, the ordered good after arranging of delivery time is delivered to a delivery address given by CUSTOMER. KANVAS provides just one delivery. If CUSTOMER will not be found at agreed time in given address, the order is returned to KANVAS store, and CUSTOMER have to pay additional cost for repeated delivery. The ordered good for free is held in KANVAS store for 1 month.
4.4 In case of not all ordered goods are available, KANVAS informs CUSTOMER to agree regarding the kind of delivery: to deliver them partially or all together.
4.5 KANVAS provides delivery to abroad, using services of the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” and observing delivery standards defined by “Latvijas Pasts”.
5 PAYMENT
5.1 All prices at the online store majasdeko.lv are shown in euro (EUR), including VAT.
5.2 The prices of goods are subject to change at the discretion of KANVAS, without prior notice to CUSTOMERS.
5.3 Delivery charges of goods in Latvia are determined by mail tariffs of the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts”, and it is given at the order confirmation. Delivery charges in case of products return is not refunded.
5.4 Delivery charges of goods to foreign countries is calculated on the basis of tariffs of the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” plus the direct costs associated with packaging of goods, packaging material purchasing and dispatch registering.
5.5 For orders placed at the online store majasdeko.lv an invoice will be received on your given e-mail and then it can be paid at the any bank or online bank at the CUSTOMER’S discretion (the order processing is initiated only if the transfer is received by the bank, except cases when an assurances letter has been received from a legal person or the appropriate cooperation agreement has been concluded).
6 CUSTOMER'S RIGHTS TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT AND REJECT THE ORDER
6.1 For all standard assortment of goods KANVAS guarantee CUSTOMER’S rights without indicating the reasons to return the goods undamaged and in unspoiled original packaging back within 14 days after the order date.
6.2 In the case of goods which are produced upon the special CUSTOMER’S order, a return of the goods back is not possible.
7 RETURN OF THE GOODS
7.1 To process a return of the goods, you need to request and to fill a return form and add it to the goods to be sent back. The return of the goods is accepted just in case they are returned back unused, undamaged and in unspoiled original packaging along with the Goods Return form.
7.2 The returned goods have to be sent to the address: SIA "Kanvas" Shop - Studio "Majas Deko", Jana Street 5, Riga, Latvia, LV 1050
8 KANVAS RIGHTS TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT
8.1 KANVAS reserves the right to terminate the contract if the ordered item is not available in the store.
8.2 CUSTOMER may use the amount of money paid for the ordered item to buy other goods. If CUSTOMER does not want to use this money for the purchase of other goods at the online store majasdeko.lv, CUSTOMER has to contact the KANVAS. KANVAS will take all necessary steps to refund the CUSTOMER’S money back to the CUSTOMER’S bank account within 3 working days but not later than 30 calendar days from the order date. KANVAS employee may ask the CUSTOMER to submit a written application on which bases the money from the KANVAS account will be transferred back to the CUSTOMER’S bank account.
9 REFUND
KANVAS Ltd refunds the money to the CUSTOMER’S bank account for the returned item within 30 days from the date of registration of return goods at KANVAS. KANVAS transfers the money for returned product only to the bank account from which money had been received.
10 PRESENTATION OF CLAIM
If by opening the ordered item hidden faults (defects) are found, the CUSTOMER should ship back that good to KANVAS, which shall take all necessary actions to replace the item with the same (or change). If replacement of goods is not possible, the CUSTOMER is entitled to refuse the order and get back the full price for the product and the associated delivery and return costs.
11 KANVAS LIABILITY
KANVAS is responsible for the losses inflicted to CUSTOMER, if such losses are the consequences of violation of the Contract terms and are caused by gross negligence or malicious act of KANVAS.
12 CUSTOMER DATABASE
KANVAS has the right to request the CUSTOMER’S personal data and to pass this information to the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” for execution of an order. KANVAS has the right to use the CUSTOMER’S mailing and e-mail address in order to deliver information and advertising products. CUSTOMER has the right to prohibit the use of its personal data for information and advertising products supply.
13 CONTACT

2.3 KANVAS undertakes to provide CUSTOMER with information and give the approval for the sale of goods contract entering into force:
2.3.1 Placing an order at the online store majasdeko.lv, the CUSTOMER receives an e-mail message about the placed order. - Select a product;

- Check your order, paying information and delivery address and perform the necessary corrections, informing about it KANVAS by the e-mail;
- Receipt of an order confirmation;
- Payment;
- The signing of a delivery note for the received goods.
3 DELIVERY TIME
Delivery time you can see in additional information of each product. Usually the goods are sent to CUSTOMER within 2 working days, if CUSTOMER has made a payment to the account specified at majasdeko.lv.
Delivery time for the goods that are produced for the special CUSTOMER’S order is as from 2 weeks.
Under a separate agreement with the CUSTOMER, other delivery times are allowed.
4 DELIVERY
4.1 Delivery is provided by KANVAS or State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” using an express mailing.
4.2 In case of delivery is provided by the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” a parcel with your order will be sent to the post office, which is the nearest to a delivery address given by CUSTOMER. Staff of this post office will call CUSTOMER to arrange the most convenient delivery time. The ordered good for free is held in KANVAS store for 1 month.
4.4 In case of not all ordered goods are available, KANVAS informs CUSTOMER to agree regarding the kind of delivery: to deliver them partially or all together.
4.5 KANVAS provides delivery to abroad, using services of the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” and observing delivery standards defined by “Latvijas Pasts”.
5 PAYMENT
5.1 All prices at the online store majasdeko.lv are shown in euro (EUR), including VAT.
5.2 The prices of goods are subject to change at the discretion of KANVAS, without prior notice to CUSTOMERS.
5.3 Delivery charges of goods in Latvia are determined by mail tariffs of the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts”, and it is given at the order confirmation. Delivery charges in case of products return is not refunded.

6 CUSTOMER'S RIGHTS TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT AND REJECT THE ORDER
6.1 For all standard assortment of goods KANVAS guarantee CUSTOMER’S rights without indicating the reasons to return the goods undamaged and in unspoiled original packaging back within 14 days after the order date.
6.2 In the case of goods which are produced upon the special CUSTOMER’S order, a return of the goods back is not possible.
7 RETURN OF THE GOODS
7.1 To process a return of the goods, you need to request and to fill a return form and add it to the goods to be sent back. The return of the goods is accepted just in case they are returned back unused, undamaged and in unspoiled original packaging along with the Goods Return form.

8 KANVAS RIGHTS TO TERMINATE THE CONTRACT
8.1 KANVAS reserves the right to terminate the contract if the ordered item is not available in the store.
8.2 CUSTOMER may use the amount of money paid for the ordered item to buy other goods. If CUSTOMER does not want to use this money for the purchase of other goods at the online store majasdeko.lv, CUSTOMER has to contact the KANVAS. KANVAS will take all necessary steps to refund the CUSTOMER’S money back to the CUSTOMER’S bank account within 3 working days but not later than 30 calendar days from the order date. KANVAS employee may ask the CUSTOMER to submit a written application on which bases the money from the KANVAS account will be transferred back to the CUSTOMER’S bank account.
9 REFUND
KANVAS Ltd refunds the money to the CUSTOMER’S bank account for the returned item within 30 days from the date of registration of return goods at KANVAS. KANVAS transfers the money for returned product only to the bank account from which money had been received.
10 PRESENTATION OF CLAIM
If by opening the ordered item hidden faults (defects) are found, the CUSTOMER should ship back that good to KANVAS, which shall take all necessary actions to replace the item with the same (or change). If replacement of goods is not possible, the CUSTOMER is entitled to refuse the order and get back the full price for the product and the associated delivery and return costs.
11 KANVAS LIABILITY
KANVAS is responsible for the losses inflicted to CUSTOMER, if such losses are the consequences of violation of the Contract terms and are caused by gross negligence or malicious act of KANVAS.
12 CUSTOMER DATABASE
KANVAS has the right to request the CUSTOMER’S personal data and to pass this information to the State joint stock company “Latvijas Pasts” for execution of an order. KANVAS has the right to use the CUSTOMER’S mailing and e-mail address in order to deliver information and advertising products. CUSTOMER has the right to prohibit the use of its personal data for information and advertising products supply.
